Summary of the Diamond Empire
The wolves of the Eastern Islands are known for their short, waterproof coats, along with their vibrant trade-centric culture. Their islands are warm and fragrant, due to the massive cherry blossom trees that litter the territory. Previously ruled over by the benevolent Yuuna Kitagawa, the Eastern Islands flourished after the birth and takeover of the four siblings. Now presided over by the only living Kitagawa, Kyo, she runs her Empire like a business, favoring transactional relationships over personal, she has befriended few outside of her own Suit. Each Diamond worships their Kami privately, but it is widely accepted that the Ace of Diamonds is Ebisu, one of the seven Kami of wealth and fortune.

Empire Values
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
The Diamond Suit heavily values honor over anything. To not honor one’s agreements is to not honor oneself. A dishonorable salesman is no salesman at all. The ideal Diamond is self-reliant, preferring to keep troubles within their inner circle.

Honor
Honor is of utmost importance in the Diamond Empire, each member of the suit aspiring to be as deeply honored as possible during their useful lifespan.
Self Reliance
Diamonds are entirely self reliant, treating all issues that arise as personal and interpersonal problems. They are problem solvers by nature, and typically refuse to let their soft-spots show to those they are not familiar with.
Equity
Uplifting the weak and maintaining equality among the ranks is a core belief of the Diamond Empire. They respect the hierarchy in place while also keeping each other in check.
Respect
Respect for elders and superiors is extremely important in the Diamonds. Disrespecting a direct superior is cause for dishonor and punishment. Empress Kyo tolerates no disrespect and will not hesitate to reprimand any subordinate she deems disrespectful.
Perseverance
Perseverance is a trait highly valued in the Empire. Triumphing in a time of pain or hardship is viewed as a great strength. Willpower during trade agreements is also extremely important.
Hard Work
Hard work among Diamonds is not hard to come by. Seeing each Diamond working tirelessly every day to maintain trades and uphold deals and shipments is awe-inspiring.
Empathy
Empathy for others is of great priority in the Empire. They are held to extraordinarily high standards for empathy. No decisions are meant to be made without considering the effect on others.
Competition
Competition is encouraged on the islands. Competing to develop the best connections, supply the most of a given material, or even manipulate the deals to favor the Diamonds is highly valued.
Communication
Communicating with superiors and peers is very important. A reliable line of communication with each member of the Diamonds is to be maintained at all times. Always tell a peer where you will be meeting for trades/deals/shipments. Safety of her subjects is extremely important to the Empress, and that can only be achieved through direct communication.
Responsibility
Personal responsibility is required to maintain respect in the Diamonds. Everyone makes mistakes, but only the honorable can own up to them and correct the issue.
